Royal Society calls for caution over neuroscience use in court

Neither the law nor science is ready for neuroscience imaging techniques to be used in court, a report by working group of the Royal Society has said.

Neuroscience and the law, published on 13 December, says neuroscience will have an impact on the law in the future but a number of challenges must be overcome to allow if it is to be used usefully.
