Royal Society clubs aim to boost open access

The Royal Society has launched two membership programmes to encourage open access publishing.

Institutions joining the programmes get a 25 per cent discount on publishing their open access articles in the Royal Society’s international scientific journals. Open access articles are published in the journals on payment by authors of an article-processing fee.
