Girls missing out on A-level physics

A report has found that 46 per cent of secondary schools in England do not send any girls on to complete a physics A-level.

The report, ‘It’s Different for Girls’, was published on 3 October by the Institute of Physics. It also identified discrepancies between mixed versus single-sex schools, and schools with and without sixth forms.
