Five UK learned societies are jointly organising a major international meeting on the role of new technology in establishing an integrated approach to environmental problems.
The event on 16 May 2012 at the Royal Geographical Society in London is a response to the setting up of the pilot Environmental Virtual Observatory, an international initiative seeking to use the latest cloud technologies to improve the outcomes of environmental research.
