Cancer Research UK receives record donation

Cancer Research UK has received a record donation of £10 million for its campaign to raise £100m for the Francis Crick Institute in London.

In a statement, the organisation says it is the largest one-off donation the charity has ever received. The same donor, who has chosen to remain anonymous, has also given £10m for a University of Southampton cancer immunology centre.
