The Institute of Engineering and Technology is to give £1 million towards scholarships for students considering a career in engineering.
These Diamond Jubilee Scholarships are aimed at students awarded three A grades at A-level who are applying for IET accredited courses in computing, electrical, electronic and manufacturing engineering from 2013. Students will receive £1,000 in every year of their degree.
