Thirty debating societies from the UK and Europe will take part in a week-long Big Animal Research Debate, a project co-organised by an animal research lobby group.
Coinciding with national biology week, the public debates will take place between 14 and 17 October. The topic to be debated is the motion: “This house would ban all forms of animal research,” and each event will conclude with a vote.
