IOP retains temporary base

Members of the Institute of Physics will be able to access rooms at its Portland Place property until February, the institute has announced.

The leases for the premises at 76 and 80 Portland Place were sold to the Royal Institute of British Architects in September, with the IOP planning to move into a property at King’s Cross in 2015.

The IOP’s staff will occupy part of the Portland Place property until the move, and members will have access to venue rooms until the end of February 2014, the institute announced on 31 October.
