Former BIS insider becomes chairman of CaSE

The Campaign for Science and Engineering has elected Graeme Reid as chairman of its board of directors.

Reid is professor of science and research policy at University College London, before which he was the head of research funding at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Reid has a doctorate in mechanical engineering and a bachelors degree in physics. “As chairman I look forward to building on the excellent relationships that CaSE has already forged with government, parliament and this country’s wonderful community of scientists, engineers and researchers,” Reid said.
