The Francis Crick Institute’s first major exhibition Open for Discovery is drawing to a close.
The exhibition is intended to present “an honest portrait of scientific discovery—the setbacks, the happy accidents, the slow incremental progress and the big leaps forward”, the institute said.
Throughout the exhibition there have been regular meet the scientists events. This month, on 6 October, immunologist Sophie Roper and molecular and computational biologist Violeta Castelo-Szekely will be in the Manby Gallery at its headquarters in central London to discuss life as a medical researcher.
