The Institute of Development Studies is seeking individuals to join its board of trustees.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they understand the role of research and knowledge in managing global poverty and its impact on policy, practice and people’s lives, the institute said on 18 July.
The role includes: joining a sub-committee and managing resources, academic programmes or nominations; contributing to good governance practice; challenging the director where appropriate; and attending board meetings.
