The Royal Academy of Engineering is expected to open its next call for distinguished visiting fellowships in late August.
The fellowships usually enable an academic engineering department in a UK university to host an expert from an overseas academic centre of excellence for up to a month.
Fellowships are normally worth up to £6,000 each.
