Scientists from the biopharmaceutical company MSD will work at the Francis Crick Institute in London, investigating conditions related to ageing, the institute has announced.
Around 15 MSD chemists and pharmacologists will be based at the Crick for the next five years, until the company sets up a new discovery science centre and UK headquarters at a still-to-be-determined London location.
Their research will be carried out independently from other work at the Crick but the institute said in a statement that the MSD team will be “fully integrated into the Crick scientific community” and will be able to attend and deliver lectures where they can discuss their latest methods and discoveries.
