Trust’s director Jeremy Farrar to take over as GRL chair ahead of ambitious expansion project
David Willetts is to step down as chair of the Wellcome Trust’s Genome Research Limited board of directors on account of being over-stretched by his academic commitments.
In a statement, the GRL board announced the former universities and science minister was to resign his position “because of his extensive commitments across the academic and science sectors”.
