The Wellcome Trust has announced the creation of two one-off funding calls for humanities and social science research teams based anywhere in the world.
The International Exchange Awards will be open to teams of researchers who are based in at least two countries, and are “designed to encourage radical and innovative research agendas through the exchange of knowledge, people and resources,” the trust said on 4 February.
Meanwhile, the Research Development Awards will also target teams based anywhere in the world, but are likely to be made to researchers in a single organisation or region. These awards will provide infrastructure funding so teams focus on building their research agendas and developing their careers.
