Researchers and clinicians appointed to Nuffield’s council

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics has appointed seven council members from academia, public health and charities.

The seven incoming members include three professors and several researchers in the field of bioethics. The appointments, announced on 25 April, come as the fixed membership period for three council members ended earlier this year, with three more due to end later in 2019.

Council members are responsible for overseeing Nuffield’s work and looking at aspects such as its strategic direction and topic identification.
