Public policy researcher Bobby Duffy has been chosen to be the next chair of the Campaign for Social Science.
Duffy, who is director of The Policy Institute and a professor of public policy at King’s College London, will lead the campaign from November. He replaces James Wilsdon, who returned to the role as interim chair following the resignation of Shamit Saggar in February.
Prior to joining King’s College London, Duffy was managing director of public affairs for the market research company Ipsos MORI, where he led a team of around 230 researchers. He was also global director of the Ipsos Social Research Institute.
