BA fellows outline key challenges at the turn of the decade

Rise of China, immigration, environment, political identity and technological change seen as burning societal issues

Five fellows of the UK’s learned society for the humanities and social sciences, the British Academy, have outlined the main trends of the 2010s and mapped out why the trends will matter to governments in the decade to come.

The fellows spoke at an event held at the BA’s London offices in December, titled ‘How will the 2010s be remembered? Fellows of the British Academy reflect’.
