Teams must now submit full applications in the hope of winning the funding
The British Heart Foundation has shortlisted four research teams for a single £30 million award aimed at revolutionising the treatment and understanding of cardiovascular diseases.
The teams have now been invited to submit full applications in the hope of winning the funding, which will be provided through the charity’s Big Beat Challenge. Launched in August 2018 to much fanfare, the scheme aims to inspire transformational solutions to heart conditions.
