Wellcome publishes Dora guidance

Charity outlines how institutions should abide by declaration's principles

The Wellcome Trust has issued guidance on how institutions should implement the principles of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment.

The declaration, known as Dora, aims to end what supporters see as the inappropriate use of journal metrics. It has been signed by about 40 UK institutions, and is backed by Coalition S, the group of funders behind the Plan S open-access initiative.
