RAEng appoints professors to tackle manufacturing challenges

Three university professors will lead research groups in collaboration with industry

The Royal Academy of Engineering has appointed three engineers to lead research groups in their fields and help improve industrial manufacturing and testing.

João Cabral, a professor of soft matter engineering at Imperial College London, has been appointed RAEng research chair in soft matter microflow engineering, a post supported by the United States consumer goods corporation Procter and Gamble, the academy announced on 9 March.
