Hundreds of Alzheimer’s disease researchers are calling for urgent government financial support to prevent “the loss of a generation of dementia researchers”.

In an open letter to science minister Amanda Solloway, endorsed by nearly 300 researchers, the chief executives of Alzheimer’s Research UK and Alzheimer’s Society warn that vital research into the disease is at risk.
