Three research institutions in receipt of charitable funding have been awarded £10 million to alleviate the impact of the pandemic on their finances.
The funding, which was awarded by UK Research and Innovation through Research England’s Specialist Institutions Fund, will go to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and the Institute of Cancer Research (all three pictured), the funder said on 26 January.
