UK public trust in science ‘on the rise’ after Covid-19 hit

       

Trust in scientists rises by 13 percentage points among British public between 2018 and 2020

Public trust in scientists in the UK has risen to 60 per cent since Covid-19 hit, a survey has revealed.

During the pandemic, six in 10 people in the UK (60 per cent) said they have ‘a lot’ of trust in scientists in this country, according to the Wellcome Global Monitor published on 29 November.
