Political economist to succeed Roger Goodman in June 2021
The Academy of Social Sciences has appointed Will Hutton as its next president.
The political economist, author and columnist will succeed Roger Goodman, whose term ends on 17 June 2021. Goodman, who has been chair of the academy since July 2015, took up the additional role of president on 1 January 2020, following approval at a general meeting.
