UK science academy calls for establishment of “Cern for climate change” ahead of COP26 summit

The Royal Society has set out 12 technology and climate research priorities for delivering net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

In separate policy briefings published ahead of the COP26 United Nations climate summit in Glasgow this year, the learned society calls on global leaders to rapidly accelerate research, investment and deployment in areas that will become increasingly important.
