UK academies launch initiative for emerging leaders

Academies seek young people with passion for influencing wider issues and collaboration across disciplines

A new cross-academy initiative in the UK aims to tap into the energy of younger generations to solve global challenges.

Launched on 14 June, the UK Young Academy will connect emerging leaders from a variety of backgrounds—including researchers, innovators, clinicians, professionals, academics and entrepreneurs—so they can tackle problems such as pandemics, climate change, biodiversity loss and social inequalities.
