John Innes Centre for plant research to get new director

Wheat researcher Graham Moore will take over from Dale Sanders in September 2022

Renowned wheat researcher Graham Moore has been chosen as the next director of the John Innes Centre plant research centre based in Norwich, UK.

Currently deputy director of the centre where he has worked for over 30 years, Moore is an award-wining researcher for his pioneering work on wheat genetics. Most recently he coordinated a £40m wheat programme, Designing Future Wheat, involving eight UK institutions.
