UCL professor, TV presenter and self-described “all-round badass” will lead Institute of Mathematics
The UK’s learned society for mathematicians has revealed its next president will be TV presenter and University College London professor Hannah Fry.
Self-described as a “mathematician, science presenter and all-round badass”, Fry is well-known for her appearances on BBC programmes which have seen her explain the maths behind the Covid-19 pandemic to audiences and guest present the quiz show Have I Got News For You.
