New philanthropic campaign “largest ever” by a UK charity

Cancer Research UK is seeking to raise £400 million to fund research in a campaign it claims is the “largest ever” by a British charity.

The campaign comes after the major charitable funder announced in November that it had identified a funding gap of more than £1 billion for research into cancer over the next decade. At the time, CRUK called for urgent action to address the funding gap.
