Subscription service provides researchers with access to British and Irish records going back centuries
The Social History Archive, a platform that gives access to British and Irish historical source material online, has launched, aimed at UK and US universities.
Created by the UK-based online genealogy service Findmypast, the digital archive contains more than 14 billion records going back centuries; these include crime reports, emigration records and newspapers.
