Celia Caulcott, the executive director for innovation and skills at the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, has been appointed to the board of directors of the BioIndustry Association.
The other appointments to the board were Mark Bodmer, head of immunology at pharmaceutical company UCB, Charles Brigden, head of business development at healthcare specialist BTG, and Keith Thompson, chief executive officer of the Cell Therapy Catapult.
Sam Williams, chief executive officer of drug development company Modern Biosciences, was re-appointed.
