The catapult focused on “intelligent mobility” has secured funding for its next 5 years of research, having signed an agreement with Innovate UK.
Will Whitehorn, chairman of the Transport Systems Catapult, said: “The signing of this agreement unlocks over £60 million in public and private funding to allow us to make decisions, build capability and make a real difference to the transport sector.”
The catapult leads on the LUTZ Pathfinder project exploring driverless car technology.
