Glasgow vice-chancellor’s report calls for more targeted research funding in government-commissioned report
Universities in Scotland need to work more closely together in the national interest if the country is to become a “world leading innovation nation”, a major new report has said.
According to Driving Innovation in Scotland—A National Mission, commissioned by the Scottish Government and led by University of Glasgow vice-chancellor Anton Muscatelli, a “national innovation strategy” should be established to set out the priority areas which should be “the focus for research and innovation activity”.
