Ministers sign off bumper budget for European Space Agency at meeting in Spain

The UK will pay roughly €1.7 billion into the European Space Agency’s next five-year budget, joining 21 other ESA member states, plus Slovenia and Canada, in contributing to the biggest ever budget for the agency.

The spending pot was signed off by science ministers at a meeting in Seville, Spain on 28 November.
