Engineers demand more money for Innovate UK ahead of election

Institution of Engineering and Technology has asked politicians for increased investment in R&D and skills

A leading UK engineering body has called on the major political parties to recognise the importance of the discipline ahead of the general election.

In a press release published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on 28 November, the body called on political parties to address the shortage of engineering and technical staff at all levels by investing in education and skills.
