The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has appointed Richard Torbett as its next chief executive.
Torbett will take over at a critical time for the organisation, with huge concerns over Brexit in the research-intensive pharma sector and questions over drug pricing in any trans-Atlantic trade deal becoming an increasingly heated political topic.
