The Science and Technology Facilities Council is set to open its second healthcare technology cluster, which will be located at the Sci-Tech Daresbury campus in Cheshire.

Founded through a partnership between the STFC and the Academic Health Science Network for the North West Coast, the HealthTec Cluster aims to help innovators and health technology companies to improve links at the local, regional and national levels.

The cluster will be managed by Philip Carvil, a former clinical academic group development manager at King’s Health Partners, a London-based academic health science centre.
