Sector raises almost £1 billion less in 2019 than in 2018 amid political uncertainty
The UK biotech sector has recorded the third highest year for investment since 2012 despite continuing political uncertainty.
The sector raised a total of £1.3 billion in 2019, according to figures published by the UK BioIndustry Association and Informa Pharma Intelligence on 22 January.
