Fewer than half of the studies funded by the National Institute for Health Research are currently open to recruitment after being paused due to coronavirus.

New data released by the NIHR shows that 47 per cent of its 6,318 commercial and non-commercial studies are now open to recruitment—an increase of 2 per cent since September.
