Knowledge Exchange Concordat opens to universities

Institutions can now sign up to concordat principles and participate in its ‘development year’

UK universities can now sign up to the principles of Knowledge Exchange Concordat, which aim to improve how universities and other research organisations collaborate with businesses.

The concordat, unveiled in April, sets out eight “guiding principles” for institutions to follow, including working ethically and transparently with partners, and ensuring that knowledge exchange is “a recognised part of the overall institutional strategy”.
