Grant will be used to enhance the accessibility and capability of electron cryomicroscopy
The Wellcome Trust has awarded £25 million to the Rosalind Franklin Institute and partners to develop electron microscopy technologies in order to push the technological boundaries and capabilities of imaging in the life sciences.
The grant will also support training in these advanced techniques to both UK and international scientists, according to an announcement from the institute on 28 October.
