Charity grant includes training initiative to allow researchers across the UK to further biological investigations
The Francis Crick institute has received a £1 million grant for the development of a new platform aimed at supporting researchers in their work investigating diseases.
The grant comes from independent charity the Wolfson Foundation, and will allow researchers to conduct experiments on many thousands of individual single cells—a method which has already shown to produce greater biological understanding than when conducting bulk analyses.
