First chair of Regulatory Horizon Council appointed

Council will examine the implications of technological innovation and advise the government on regulation

The government has appointed Cathryn Ross, regulatory affairs director at the BT Group, as the first chair of the new Regulatory Horizon Council. 

The council was recommended in a white paper on regulation for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in June 2019 with the aim of speeding up the safe roll-out of emerging innovations and technologies.
