More than £830 million raised in three months, BioIndustry Association data reveal
UK biotech companies could be on track for another record-breaking year of fundraising despite the coronavirus pandemic.
According to figures released by analytics company Clarivate and trade body the UK BioIndustry Association, more than £830 million in capital was raised in the three months to the end of February, falling only just short of the £894m raised in the entire first half of 2020, which itself was a record-breaking year.
