Most of 500 surveyed businesses that carry out research in the UK hampered by Covid-19
More than 80 per cent of firms that conduct research activities in the UK have had those activities either stopped or delayed by the pandemic, according to findings from the National Centre for Universities and Business based on a survey of 500 companies.
NCUB chief executive Joe Marshall said this is “hugely concerning”—especially in light of the UK’s post-pandemic recovery goals, such as decarbonising its economy.
