Science minister says foreign investment must be complemented by “financial firepower of City of London”
The UK’s biotech sector is celebrating a record year for investment—thanks to a suspected surge in overseas investment, according to the BioIndustry Association.
New data released by the trade body reveal that investment in the sector jumped by £1.7 billion to £4.5bn in 2021—an increase of 60 per cent compared with 2020.
