Safety certification rule changes create more red tape to hamper UK innovators
UK innovators are being held back by red tape created as a result of Brexit, with some sectors now facing “a cliff edge on New Year’s Day” when safety certification rules change, according to the Observer newspaper.
The paper quotes several trade bodies in its report and argues that the need for separate UK safety certification rules is hampering efforts to bring new products to UK market.
