Regulator plans to ‘meaningfully involve’ patients in research

  

Health Research Authority’s three-year strategy puts patients and public ‘at the centre’

England’s regulator of health and social care research has set out plans to better involve patients and members of the public in research.

In its new strategy, which was drawn up with input from patients and members of the public, the Health Research Authority sets out two principles that it says will guide its work over the next three years: ‘include’ and ‘accelerate’.
