UK Space Agency expects to award majority of funding outside the south-east for market-focused technologies

The UK government has announced £50 million in pilot funding to develop R&D infrastructure for space missions.

Science minister George Freeman said the Space Clusters and Infrastructure Fund is “the UK’s first fund dedicated to support the space industry develop the R&D facilities key to growing the space clusters across the UK”.
